About Us
Tired of working the normal 9 to 5 job and not getting much gratification, taking what he had learned from working with other landscape contractors, Simply Green Landscaping was established in 1989 by Owner/Operator Peter LoCoco. The business was started on the premise of "taking care of your customer's property as you would your own". Being his own boss with a family on the way didn't come without its challenges. He worked a part time job while building his business, mainly on weekends.
He started the business mainly as a residential landscape maintenance and lawn mowing service, one yard and one customer at a time. Getting additional customers from another landscape contractor he eventually was able to work for himself full time. As the business grew (mainly from referrals) he acquired his California State Contractors license, expanding into backyard landscape designs and installation as well as commercial work. Today Simply Green Landscape operates 3 maintenance routs (85% residential and 15% commercial & H.O.A.) as well as taking on landscape design and installation projects. He is active in all phases of the business and enjoys the satisfaction he gets from his customers on a job well done.
